One of the best parenting books! submitted by valerieshin on August 27, 2020, 10:21am This is one of the best parenting books I've read! Lots and lots of great advice, examples of ways to do it, cute illustratons, and checklists and summaries at the end of each chapter to help you remember/use as a cheatsheet. A big theme of the book is treating kids with respect and using good communication skills. 5/5!

The comic strip like scenarios that present both ideal scripts and not productive scripts of what to say in response to kids was very helpful. The summaries after each chapter were helpful too for family members who don't have enough time to read the whole book.
