disappointing submitted by 21621031390949 on August 25, 2017, 7:35pm What a great topic, and what a great book this could be! Unfortunately, it is very poorly written. It is disjointed and lacks a central point. The writing is almost childish in its simplicity in relating just the facts. Very little development of the personalities of the key people involved. Although I'm fascinated by the subject, I'm finding it hard to finish.
Poorly written submitted by wellscai on July 24, 2018, 8:58am Such a great subject deserves a better book. There's no overall narrative, the story hops around chronologically, and the writing is pretty bad. There's just no focus, and the author goes from event to event without developing a cohesive thesis. I struggled through it.
