Great! submitted by maya29 on July 3, 2020, 11:41pm I loved how realistic this book was and how it really shows readers the experience of child immigrants/first-generation Americans

Fabulous! submitted by pamhockey25 on July 13, 2020, 12:47pm This book is written by a woman who actually had a similar experience in coming to the United States from Haiti, and is very authentic. The characters are well written and the situations and experiences seem very realistic and believable.
