Novella about strength and choices submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 21, 2018, 4:18pm The second Binti novella, this continues the theme of making choices and living into them with strength and conviction, even when the decision-maker isn’t 100% sure of the decision. Binti decides that she needs to go back to her home (planet) and make a pilgrimage, then events spin out of her control again. Always, there are choices about how to respond. Okorafor writes great stories because her characters have to respond, and do so in ways that feel real.
