Hooray for VI! submitted by debbifs on June 30, 2017, 1:52pm Transplanting VI from Chicago to Kansas (albeit only temporarily) provides Paretsky with an opportunity to work with the detective in a wholly new environment without her usual supporting cast (and the quick outs they sometimes provide). Fallout was an engrossing read with a strong plot and mostly well-drawn characters.
