I like this book.

Always Wonderful Estes submitted by KPNF on August 28, 2021, 7:00am Another awesome book by Eleanor Estes. She has such a great ability to relate what kids are thinking. This book is set in the 1920s or 30s, but does not seem especially dated. Like Ginger Pye, there is a mystery running throughout the book and suspense builds while you learn about the characters during their summer at the beach.
