The Grammar Book submitted by SBNB on July 28, 2012, 7:14pm This book is definitely not light reading. But if you are want to know anything about English grammar (except maybe why the grammar is like it is), this is the book for you. It explains everything in detail and covers the form, the meaning, and the usage of each grammar point. Tips for teaching the grammar to ESL/EFL learners are also included. It's really an invaluable resource for the ESL/EFL instructor.
Invaluable resource submitted by jillrachele on April 25, 2024, 9:13pm The best book of its type. I have been using it since 1998 (an earlier edition). Even the most esoteric grammar questions are answered (clearly, with examples).
