For the quick and the curious submitted by yugure on October 5, 2012, 5:28pm As far as vegan cookbooks go, this one doesn't offer a whole lot of unique or creative recipes; most rely on prepackaged foods like soups, fake meats, etc (hence why you could say the recipes have only four ingredients, though each of those prepackaged foods contain lots more than four ingredients). But it is certainly, like the cover says, easy and quick (and mostly delicious). I would recommend this to busy vegan cooks who don't have the time to put into an elaborate meal, students who may not have the time, money, or incentive to cook a lot, and people new to vegan cooking who are still exploring ways to use fake meats. (I do have to say that the Chickpea-of-the-Sea recipe is really quite good and makes a wonderful quick lunch. It does use premade vegan mayo, but vegan mayo is pretty amazing and totally worth it.)

Misleading submitted by mrajraspn08 on August 19, 2018, 3:01pm Frustrating. At first glance, it seems perfect, but much of the recipes involve premade or prepackaged foods. For some, that would be fine, but definitely not what I was looking for.
