For almost 17 years, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart brilliantly redefined the borders between television comedy, political satire, and opinionated news coverage. It launched the careers of some of today's most significant comedians, highlighted the hypocrisies of the powerful, and garnered 23 Emmys. Now, for the first time, the people behind the show's seminal moments come together to share their memories of one of America's most groundbreaking shows.-- adapted from book jacket.

Recommend submitted by Zekicmom on June 20, 2017, 8:47pm Really interesting and entertaining. Great behind the scenes stories and explanations about how the show came to be what it is today.
Great read submitted by Alexis Marks on July 7, 2017, 5:06am Interesting look at an influential show and cultural benchmark. Earnestly thought the format of retelling almost exclusively through oral history interviews would be difficult to enjoy, but in the end it made for a more compelling story and easy to pick up and put down in the chaos of daily life.
