Fascinating submitted by jibkidder on July 3, 2022, 10:27am From start to finish, so many interesting cases of unusual brains and their interactions with music. Addresses so many philosophical questions I have had over the years about music and perception and just constantly shocks. An important book for anyone interested in thinking about the experience of listening to music.

Case Studies submitted by kathscot on June 27, 2023, 7:22am Relates various case studies of how aberrant brains can perceive music. An interesting book, but doesn’t address how the usual brain perceives music, if that is what you are interested in.
