Poser/meh submitted by lballard on July 12, 2018, 2:37pm My initial impression was that this book wasn’t particularly compelling or well written. It seems to rely on identity branding with the farm/recipes aspects. However, I know a little about beekeeping, and once we got to a bit about that it was obvious that she knows even less. (Swarming bees are highly unlikely to attack anyone. Although I’d strongly suggest wearing a suit just in case you accidentally seem to threaten a queen, some don’t. Supposedly one can stick ones bare hand into the center of the swarm without getting stung. I’ve considered doing it but haven’t quite had the guts. Maybe next time I will.). Her bio on the back says that she has a farm and keeps bees. She must be paying someone else to do the actual work.
