Move over Rachel Ray... submitted by patrice on September 25, 2009, 3:41pm Both a book and Series on PBS, Jacques Pepin takes the viewer and reader through fast and sophisticated meals that take around 30-45 minutes (depending on skill level). These meals use ingredients that are found in most pantries, and have shortcuts that save time without sacrificing the flavor and complexity. I recommend watching the series in conjunction with reading the cookbook, although it isn't necessary. Jacques Pepin shares wonderful advice and cooking tips in all of his work, and this series is no exception. It is especially helpful for busy home-cooks.
