Motherhood, A Novel submitted by sdunav on July 26, 2023, 12:46pm Compelling novel about four mothers, three of whom meet in their pregnancy yoga class. Weiner comes up with the most interesting characters. She created the world's most evil (but still hilarious) MIL for this story.

Parts of this were quite funny. Weiner captured the exhaustion, the worry, the whole feel of the first year of new motherhood - but the second half of the book was such a tear-jerker I either sniffled or sobbed my way through several pages.
