Food History and Virtual Tasting submitted by ekjensen on July 1, 2017, 9:21pm An interesting overview of ten restaurants (per the author) that impacted American palettes. There is a heavy leaning to New York City and west and other east coast examples, although Antoine's from New Orleans in the included outlier. The history (and demise) of many these restaurants and its owners is covered well, and the menus and paragraphs about the actual food is well documented in this book, too.
