Gay Male Speculative Fiction submitted by Meginator on July 27, 2018, 10:06pm First things first: this anthology’s definition of “gay” is strictly in the cissexual male (and usually white) sense of the word; look elsewhere for queer characters of other orientations. Following a bizarre introduction, the stories run the gamut of speculative fiction, with common themes including alienation (taken to different degrees of literal meaning) and ghosts or doubles, among others. Despite the narrow focus on gay men, the collection offers a pleasant variety of stories for fans of speculative fiction.
