Alternate WWI submitted by sdunav on June 18, 2017, 12:18pm This is a new paranormal fantasy/mystery set during an alternative WWI in England, France, and Germany. Parts of the story were fascinating, and parts dragged a bit for me. I really liked Kowal’s alternative Regency historical fiction, but this story was a bit too disjointed, though many of the characters were interesting. I wonder if she will continue this series?
