A real snoozer submitted by cmeza on July 21, 2022, 6:45pm To be fair, I did not realize I was getting into the middle of a trilogy and should have known and loved all these characters already. My first effort was to catch up to who was related to whom and what their various personality quirks were. Then, I was put off by the meticulous description of the more tedious aspects of building renovations. Simultaneously I started paying attention to whose point of view was being used to tell the story from the outset. I knew immediately that the first two points of view encountered would eventually end up with each other. Finally, I couldn't handle the boredom any longer and skipped to the ending. Voila! I was right.
