Fun! submitted by adilaura on July 1, 2011, 7:14pm A great book that has been made into a very cute movie!

Fun Book submitted by kathscot on June 27, 2012, 3:45pm Lots of action, silly names and illustrations.
A fun read for upper elementary or young at heart.

Interesting submitted by jennifer-ricks on June 20, 2013, 5:07pm An interesting book. The movie doesn't follow the book much at all so it is worth reading if you like the movie.

Really funny submitted by Akkitaset on July 2, 2013, 9:42pm I chose it for my free book in summer reading, and finished reading it the day after that. It was really funny, and I recommend this book for all ages. :)

Hate it submitted by Blackberry Elf-Glitter on July 13, 2013, 2:31pm This was a terrible book, although how would I know.. I only got a little past the first page.. too much stupid toilet humour that wasn't even funny and really immature, and it got old FAST. Dumb names and completely random plots. It was just all too unappealing to read. I can imagine a young male reader might enjoy it, but not me. I expect I might like the movie more.

better movie submitted by ifechijie on June 18, 2015, 1:22pm Movie was actually better.

A new classic! submitted by katherine.pearson on August 7, 2017, 12:28pm I've read the entire series to my young children multiple times. I think I enjoy How to Train Your Dragon as much as the kids do. These are delightful books - at times silly, at times scary. The series builds and goes in unexpected directions - stay with it!

Cute submitted by hollieesper121573 on August 8, 2017, 9:15pm I liked the fact reading the book was like reading a different part of the movie

Okay submitted by naetdoc on August 10, 2018, 1:25am I enjoyed this book but I think the movie is better.

My son loves this series submitted by Mama Liisa on July 23, 2019, 8:29am I didn’t see my 9 year old for a week when I got him these books :)

Good submitted by stynesev on June 11, 2023, 6:33pm This book is outrageously funny, has lots of action and excitement. This book is good for ages 8 and up.

Where are the girls? submitted by teri on August 7, 2023, 8:53am Reading this to a 7-year old, she repeatedly asks why there aren't any girls in the Viking gang, and sometimes walks away while I'm reading. Even though I tell her that, in reality, women Vikings were some of the fiercest warriors.

Great submitted by helenboyle on August 28, 2023, 1:00pm It is a great book
