reality TV satire submitted by camelsamba on July 20, 2017, 10:20pm If you're familiar with Hiaasen's work, this will feel similar: fun characters you either love or hate, sarcastic humor, and barely believable story lines - this one set in the Everglades. One day my son was watching a YouTube video spoofing a survivalist TV show. I thought of that spoof as I read about Derek Beaver (errr, Badger!) and wondered if Hiaasen was riffing on the same show.
