Good read! Couldn't put it down. submitted by hathaway1066 on July 26, 2017, 10:49am Very satisfying--gripping!--thrill ride. Lots of emotional oomph, too, with descriptions of characters' fear and internal thoughts, etc. as they are caught up in a major, and VERY deadly viral outbreak. There are some interesting--but not hit-you-over-the-head political elements to the story, but the medical detective story along with the impact of the disease is where the narrative is focused.

Characters were believable and the science (as far as I could tell) was solid--seems like either the author knows his stuff or he talked to people who do.

Definitely not a waste of time--doesn't have overly predictable plot twists.
