Translation of : Shikisai o motanai Tazaki Tsukuru to kare no junrei no toshi.
"The new novel--a book that sold more than a million copies the first week it went on sale in Japan--from the internationally acclaimed author, his first since IQ84"-- Provided by publisher.
Here he gives us the remarkable story of Tsukuru Tazaki, a young man haunted by a great loss; of dreams and nightmares that have unintended consequences for the world around us; and of a journey into the past that is necessary to mend the present. It is a story of love, friendship, and heartbreak for the ages. - Provided by publisher.

One of my Favorite Novels? submitted by Eman Akhtar on July 5, 2017, 11:58am This is my favorite novel by Haruki Murakami that follows the journey of Tsukuru Tazaki after his friends abandon him.
Living in grey submitted by ccrose on March 27, 2020, 8:22pm The main character has painful memories and guilt. They cling to him through high school friends, college and then his peculiar search for the missing parts of his life. It was a huge achievement for the writer to keep this character at that level of barely living through many chances to live more fully. That mood is what I remember best.
Tremendous submitted by courtneyhooper on August 12, 2022, 11:49pm Everything Murakami writes is worth reading!
