Maybe Too Informative? submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2021, 7:59pm This book offers a lot of useful scientific information about compost, including its chemical composition, various methods of creating and tailoring compost piles, and ways to utilize compost. The background information is excellent and Thompson’s presentation is relatively clear, but it can be difficult to sift through to the useful parts if all you want to do is figure out how to start or improve your own compost pile.
