I skipped the boring parts - and there were many! submitted by TeacherN on June 15, 2022, 5:32pm The underlying story about Holocaust survivor Lena Woodward is mostly good, but the contrived characters of Catherine Lockhart and Liam Taggart were ridiculous, predictable, and boring. The only way I could get through this book was to skip anything with Catherine and Liam, which was probably half of the book.
