Completely changed how I viewed "misbehavior" submitted by keldan315 on July 10, 2022, 10:10pm If I had the resources, I would give every teacher a copy of this book. It starts with the basic premise that there are no bad kids, and asks those with children in their lives to reframe how we understand misbehavior. Instead of trying to simply eliminate undesirable behaviors, we are asked to look for the reasons why the child is acting in this particular way in this particular context.

It's been absolutely wonderful how much this has helped me to deepen my relationship with my 7 year old by simply working to get to know him and to help him with the difficult feelings that cause "misbehavior".
