Another celebrity memoir in the form of essays hit the stand.
The book is good, some parts are funny, some are sad.
Amy shares a lot of stories about her childhood, how her parents lost their fortune and began all over again. She describes her lovers, her one night stand, the athletes and musicians she was with.
The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo submitted by a2sue on July 28, 2017, 6:48pm The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo is an interesting read by Amy Schumer.
finding humor submitted by avrogers1 on July 29, 2017, 12:08am I really enjoyed this book! It was easy to read and separated into a bunch of short stories that the author called essays. I enjoyed the way Schumer found humor in even the serious moments in life. She told some really personal stories, but her humor kept it light hearted and funny.
Amy can be grating, but also hilarious submitted by ginarae3 on August 4, 2018, 9:16am I don't really like Amy Schumer, especially after this, but I did laugh out loud a few times and overall the book was enjoyable.
Review submitted by bcartm01 on June 18, 2022, 9:56am I am an Amy Schumer fan. I made sure to listen to her narrate her writing on audiobook, and it was worth it. If you are a fan, I would definitely recommend reading this.
