Complicated submitted by andrea on August 26, 2011, 10:52pm This third book in the Above the Line series looks at issues and temptations faced within a marriage as well as issues and temptations faced by college students, all within the context of a production company making films as missionary work to try to reach the secular world with a message about how life should be lived. I enjoy following the characters, both those new to this series and those from previous series (the Flanigan and Baxter families), but I often get the sense that Kingsbury's books are rushed to publication without thorough enough editing.
