"From New York Times bestselling author of the "twisty-mystery" (Vulture) novel In a Dark, Dark Wood, comes The Woman in Cabin 10, an equally suspenseful and haunting novel from Ruth Ware--this time, set at sea. In this tightly wound, enthralling story reminiscent of Agatha Christie's works, Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first, Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: the cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, gray skies fall, and Lo witnesses what she can only describe as a dark and terrifying nightmare: a woman being thrown overboard. The problem? All passengers remain accounted for--and so, the ship sails on as if nothing has happened, despite Lo's desperate attempts to convey that something (or someone) has gone terribly, terribly wrong.

Suspenseful! submitted by jgetty on December 19, 2016, 8:08am This book was a page-turner and very suspenseful. It had me checking the lock on my door! I thought it was a good book, but almost too suspenseful for me!

End your reading lull submitted by ohheyitselle on June 18, 2017, 5:01pm I read this book in 2 days! A very good book if you need to get back into reading!

Great Thriller submitted by mickplu on July 4, 2017, 12:32pm Loved this book! Great thriller set on a cruise ship. The writing is descriptive to the point that you as the reader, will feel claustrophobic when the main character is held prisoner on the luxury ship. The ending is a bit of a happy surprise.

Thriller/Mystery submitted by Pooh3238 on July 7, 2018, 4:55pm Great thriller/mystery. Quick read. I was able to read the book in just a few days. The writing is great and descriptive. Great twists too.

eye-rollingly annoying submitted by ginarae3 on August 4, 2018, 9:19am I was given this book by a friend and I just didn't like it. It was written very poorly. It just seemed like chick-lit instead of a good crime story. Maybe if you like chick-lit you'll like it?

Great thriller submitted by TLW1998 on July 19, 2019, 2:48pm I loved this book. It was a fun read trying to figure out the mystery.

Okay submitted by zmclaugh on July 26, 2019, 1:17pm Suspenseful but ultimately forgettable.

Good for a quick, distracting read submitted by teri on August 13, 2019, 12:34pm Not the best writing - but this isn't up there with great literature. It's a quick read that keeps you guessing. But yes - as another review states - "ultimately forgettable".

suspenseful submitted by kathscot on August 19, 2019, 7:11pm Good, but intense. Plays on some basic fears.

fun, fast read. submitted by AGAPHD on June 25, 2020, 8:14pm a quick and entertaining read. Ruth Ware is a pretty reliable choice for a twisty mystery.

Very suspenseful submitted by smgop on August 6, 2020, 6:18pm Intense page-turner. Whoa.

Easy reading submitted by annikajoyce on August 25, 2020, 9:17am As other reviewers note, this is a quick read-- perhaps a good vacation read. But it lacks the depth and complexity of other thrillers/mystery novels I've read.
