If you've been around Michigan much, you'll recognize most of the places in this book. If you don't know a ton about the state, perhaps you can find new things, but I consider most of the things in the book to be pretty mainstream, not "off the beaten path". I mean, Eastern Market in Detroit is off the beaten path?
