Linnet Doyle is young, beautiful, and rich. She's the girl who has everything-including the man her best friend loves. Linnet and her new husband take a cruise on the Nile, where they meet the brilliant detective Hercule Poirot. It should be an idyllic trip, yet Poirot has a vague, uneasy feeling that something is dangerously amiss.

classic submitted by kathscot on June 18, 2015, 4:04pm A classic mystery with plenty of suspects and twists. Has been made into more than one movie, but the book has the best character development.
Agatha Christie classic submitted by purchasingqueen on July 13, 2019, 11:43pm This is a vintage Christie novel/who-dunnit with, of course, our hero, detective Hercule Poirot.
Death on The Nile submitted by Varshini on August 1, 2019, 11:42am Hercule Poirot is definitely my favorite detective. (Or Sherlock Holmes). Anyway, this book is a classic murder mystery. I rated it 5/5 stars.

This was a classic AC mystery and I enjoy Hercule Peroit. I couldn’t get past the racist depictions of Egyptians on the book.
This also felt a bit like the boat version of Murder in the Orient Express which I enjoyed more.
