Renaissance Woman submitted by unknown on July 19, 2007, 10:59am The first time I knew of Lee Miller was in a photo. She was taking a bath in Hitler's bathtub, 1945 Munich. She is one of the most interesting persons I have ever read about. She was true to herself, was a good friend, had many lovers and increditable adventures. "The art of Lee Miller" is a good introduction. She was a beautiful model for publications such as Vogue in the 1920's. In the 1930's Miller moved to Paris, her circle included Man Ray, Picasso (he painted a portrait of her), Jean Cocteau and Salvador Dali. She became a gifted photographer in the center of the Surrealist movement. Lee Miller was a reporter/photographer in WWII. This book includes a broad selection of her works in various media, photos of her and examples of her writing. An indepth biography was written by Carolyn Burke in 2005. Lee Miller's story would be a great film.

Great submitted by 0liviap0pp on August 22, 2011, 7:21am This is an interesting story of Lee Miller.
