Introductory spreads explain that bugs live nearly everywhere on Earth and give tips on how to become a young bug spotter. The book is divided into key groups of bugs, including beetles, moths, butterflies, bees, snails, crickets, grasshoppers, worms and spiders, all illustrated with scenic compositions. Some spreads approach the world of bugs thematically, such as bugs that come out at night, baby creepy-crawlies and life cycles, how bugs hide and show off and how some bugs love to live in your home.

Great illustrations! submitted by BugsAndSlugs on June 21, 2017, 5:35pm This is a cute AND informative book and the illustrations are wonderful!

Great for kids submitted by h.parsamehr on July 21, 2019, 7:22am My little one loves bugs. This book taught her some new facts. We went through, page by page, reading about each one, then trying to draw one. It was pretty fun. It's a good reference book to keep on the shelf for little ones. Probably not going to be super informative for young adults, though.

Good book for kids submitted by SNG on July 17, 2023, 12:50pm The facts and Illustrations in this book are wonderful.
