Good sequel submitted by jdev13 on August 19, 2016, 9:16am A great follow up to a first book. Some sequels suffer the sophomore slump, but this book was strong! Even better than the original (The False Prince)!

Lovely ending submitted by 2025MJW on August 4, 2020, 8:55am The Shadow Throne is a great ending to the Ascendance trilogy, including The False Prince and The Runaway King. The final line wraps up the whole series quite nicely, though I can't wait for The Captive Kingdom too come out this October!
