beautiful illustrations submitted by adimarzo on August 22, 2011, 10:31am I just love Rachel Isadora's illustrations in these retellings of well-known fairy tales set in Africa.

The Ugly Duckling submitted by avrogers1 on July 8, 2017, 7:50pm The Ugly Duckling is a childrens book that follows a young duckling who was born looking different than its siblings. It sets out on a journey to find where it belongs. In the end it finds out that it wasn't an ugly duckling, but another type pf bird all together.
I really enjoyed this book from its colorful illustrations to its happy ending, it was a wonderful retelling of an old story.
