COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Needlework mystery submitted by ssands on July 2, 2015, 3:39pm This is part of a series about a woman who inherits a needlework shop and solves murders. This series is a part of a large, mostly inoffensive, mostly uninspired genera of murder mysteries featuring a feisty heroine who has a dream job and annoys the somewhat inept local police by solving the ridiculously large number of murders in her small town. It probably makes sense to read this series in order since there is a tiny amount of character development between them, although not enough to make much of a difference. I didn't feel like this was the best of the bunch -- there were a few things that just didn't seem well-motivated. The parts about needlework are actually quite interesting.
