Great submitted by manz on July 2, 2023, 8:42pm This was a great read! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was poignant and heartbreaking. Lovely writing!
An underappreciated classic! submitted by gbrandol on July 21, 2023, 7:13am It's mystifying to me that this book isn't better known or more widely read. It's an exquisitely written story of American tragedy that highlights race and gender in the most knowing and empathetic ways. A sad but beautiful book.
