amazing submitted by readingking on July 13, 2011, 5:53pm it's just fantastic

I really enjoyed this book. submitted by jennifer-ricks on August 3, 2011, 12:37pm I really enjoyed this book. I was told that if you enjoyed the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, than I would enjoy this book. I did enjoy the read, but the ending wasn't too satisfying.

Great submitted by Zhengyang1022 on June 17, 2012, 7:16am This book was an amazing book, and it made a good start to the series.

Unfinished submitted by stkloves on July 5, 2012, 5:35pm I have not finished this book yet but what I have read, I loved. Before school got out my teacher told me that if I liked the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, that I would like this series. I am very excited to finish reading this book and the rest of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series.

excellent submitted by betsywil on July 27, 2012, 9:48pm This book is a fine start to a fun series, filled with good characters and great action (on occasion almost too much action?) I particularly enjoy the settings and the appearances by characters from history and from myth and legend.

Books 1-5 are all great fun. I am impatiently waiting in line for book 6.

I loved how there was so much mystery and the author left me with so many questions. It's engaging and interesting! I enjoyed getting to know the characters better and the new complicated magic! It was Fantastic! If you loved the Harry Potter series or fantasy, this is the book for you!

I'm hooked! submitted by lmangus on August 27, 2019, 8:28am Got this as a suggested read to get up to speed on some of the popular series. I can see why it has such a fan base, as I couldn't put it down! It's a fast read, but very enjoyable. Happy to know there are many more books in this series to catch up on!

The Alchemyst submitted by JHermanowski on July 16, 2020, 9:45pm Initially, was not impressed, took about 1/2 way through the book to enjoy the story and get pulled in. But started to enjoy plot and looking forward to next book. Many twists and turns.

5 out of 5 Stars submitted by skalantr on July 9, 2022, 1:55pm This book is decent at the start, but it really picks up halfway through. A good start to a good series.

Interesting submitted by Xris on June 14, 2023, 2:22am It's always interesting to read a book that us based on real people and myths and legends surrounding those people. I'm glad a friend recommended it to me, but now I have lots more books to read!
