For the child of the right age... submitted by jibkidder on June 20, 2022, 10:21am ... I'd say, maybe 4 to 7, these books can get some laughs for sure. All Agee's books are of similar tone and quality, this one my kids liked a lot.

Not Agee's Best submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2022, 8:54am This picture book is clever and has the expected reversal of forces at the end, but I expected more wordplay from Agee (given his other books) and ultimately came away disappointed. The story itself has a fair bit of charm, aided by the very literal illustrations and the silly premise, and kindhearted readers will find themselves reflected in the main character’s moment of steely, and dare I say lion-like, determination.
