COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Good submitted by kathscot on July 28, 2017, 12:07pm Diana Wynne Jones is a fantastic author. Seriously, read anything you can find by her.
This is an interesting story with a modern setting. As usual the pace is frenetic with humor tucked in, but always compelling in the end.

Wonderful submitted by anacoluthon on July 11, 2018, 11:00am I adore all of Diana Wynne Jones' books, but I think this one just might be my favorite. A delightful blend of scifi and fantasy, with centaurs, magic, destiny, and interdimensional travel. And it's all set at a scifi convention in the 90's!

Magic + Conventions submitted by annakbh on July 5, 2023, 4:17pm Jones is a master of spinning across universes in her books, and this is no exception. From a magical empire to a fantasy convention, an absolute wild ride.
