When Princess Petunia is accidentally kidnapped by the band of thieves known as the Wolves of the Westfalian Woods, their leader must make things right by confessing to the king and delivering her to the estate of Prince Grigori's grandmother, Grand Duchess Volenskaya. But sometimes the wolf is the hero and it's the grandmother you have to watch out for... After being cursed as a child to dance endlessly at a midnight ball with her 11 sisters, Petunia is now haunted by troubling dreams of the ball, which may not be merely nightmares. When she and her sisters fall into a carefully laid trap, who but a handsome woodsman can save the day?

like it submitted by Midnight on June 25, 2014, 1:34pm It's a spin to the story twelve dancing princesses. I like it. They have to stop this villian, King Under Stone. Horrible name, I keep thinking him as "King doing something to a rock". The problem with this story is that there are too many princess names and they all sound the same.

Good submitted by purunai on July 20, 2015, 3:07pm I think this book was good

Third submitted by kathscot on July 19, 2019, 3:01pm This is the third book in a series about the dancing princesses. I read it first and think the names might be less confusing if you read the others first since the older princesses are featured in those books. Still it was an interesting twist on both the Dancing Princesses and Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed the book.

Nice twist submitted by gabbietucker on July 22, 2019, 1:12pm I really enjoyed this book though I haven't read the two previous books. I enjoyed how it put a spin on the twelve dancing princesses and red riding hood and how exciting it was. The book did use some more complex words that I didn't know, though.
