Solid cyberpunk, without the detective noir submitted by BurntSaori on June 17, 2018, 8:24pm The second installment of the Takeshi Kovacs adventures finds Tak on another world, fighting someone else’s war. Instead of a murder mystery our protagonist is on a treasure hunt, dodging government, insurgents, and cutthroat corporations to claim the most important lost alien artifact ever discovered.
Though Morgan wrote 3 Takeshi Kovacs novels in quick succession they are not really a trilogy, and apart from a few references scattered between them, could be completely standalone works. A solid 4/5
