Empathizing with an elephant submitted by FordAlpha on August 15, 2018, 10:28pm The "Elephant and Piggie" books are well constructed, humorous stories for beginning readers. Any of them is a great choice for reading practice with a kid who is learning to read. Gerald the Elephant's fussy, worrywart ways occasionally become annoying, but Piggie's cheerful spontaneity usually saves the day. Here, Piggie tries all kinds of crazy stunts to cheer up Gerald, but finally learns that what Gerald really wants is simply her companionship. This is not the most outstanding title in the series, but it's still an early-reader that your kid will actually want to read, and teaches something about empathy and being observant of a friend's feelings.

he still is not happy when she dressed like a clown.
he is still sad.
she dressed like a robot he was not happy too.
when pig show up, the element said he was sad because pig was not there.
pig said you need a new glasses, because she was there
