A Must Read submitted by susanlam on July 3, 2012, 12:08pm This book is so awesome that I'm not even sure where to begin. Well, for starters, Cameron Smith, who's sixteen years old and in high school, is diagnosed with Creutzfeld-Jakob disease, which is more or less eating holes in his brain and replicating the disease so that it ends up in the rest of his body, too. When Dulcie, a punk angel with pink hair, shows up and tells him that he might be able to find a cure if he's willing to go on a crazy road trip in an attempt to save the world, he says yes. And from there the story just gets better and better. The writing is fresh and funny, and the characters are believably clueless and entertainingly frustrating. There is some profanity, though--the book isn't meant for kids, but it's absolutely worth reading--and, possibly, worth buying as well.
