painful sucking up submitted by SurfGrape on July 3, 2016, 5:22pm The account of a writer who was mentored through the writing of a thriller by a personal friend, who just happens to be John Grisham. When the author isn't trying his hardest to shine a spotlight on himself, he's sucking up to Grisham. The result is almost painful to read. I'd give this zero stars if I could.
