Nice to have around submitted by adj737 on July 7, 2018, 10:57pm While going through the home buying process for the first time this was a nice, simple reference
Good Basic Introduction submitted by Meginator on July 20, 2019, 11:12am This is a perfectly serviceable, easily comprehensible guide to the many confusing aspects of purchasing real estate; what it lacks in charm it makes up for in its straightforward presentation of complex information. Following the familiar Dummies format, this book takes readers through each step in the process, with an emphasis on comprehensibility if not thoroughness. The information is fairly stripped down but still useful, making this a great starting point for anyone intimidated by the home-buying process. Personally, I found this most useful in conjunction with more comprehensive resources, but it does make for an excellent introduction to homeownership.
