Way to go Ophelia
submitted by rose.lorenz on August 18, 2014, 10:21pm
Ophelia's father is a works renowned sword expert. After her mother's illness and death, Ophelia and her sister are brought along to a strange, cold foreign city where her father is to work on a fantastic sword exhibit while the girls are to go ice skating and get past the loss of their mother. Instead, Ophelia finds a boy locked away in the museum who needs her help to get free and avert the catastrophe that will befall the world should the evil snow queen prevail.
Ophelia's tasks are challenging and the suspense of knowing how she will persevere keeps the reader going. (Although some of the foreshadowing in the book feels a bit clunky and heavy- handed.)
