Good series submitted by ac97 on May 14, 2008, 3:27pm The first book isn't that exciting, but the series gets better later.

Good Start submitted by 0liviap0pp on June 20, 2011, 3:11pm An intriguing start to a pretty good series. I had some questions about it along the way since some things weren't clear. Some parts were a bit vague, but overall, it was a good book.

intreeding... submitted by walbridge602 on July 9, 2013, 3:39pm I think this is an awesome book, can't wait to read the next book!

Wouldn't recommend it submitted by iamnotonfire on February 6, 2014, 3:14pm I think this was very boring. I thought it a very hard read because of how boring it was. I really hated this book. Kathryn Lasky isn't a very good writer who writes very engaging books. More brainstorming, Lasky.

Good Series submitted by peterflorence on June 14, 2015, 7:14am The first book is kind of boring, but stick with the series, because the rest of the books are very good.

Exciting! Book Review by Sophia Bloom submitted by Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor on April 12, 2016, 10:15am Read The Capture! It’s full of adventure, mystery, owls and friendship. This book is part of the Guardians of Ga’hoole series by Kathryn Lasky. It is a fiction book about owls. It is mostly in the academy St. Aegolius for orphan owls. The main characters are the owls Soren, Gylfie, Twilight and Digger. I especially admire Twilight for being so brave and daring. The problem is that Soren and Gylfie are captured. Read it to find out what happens!

This book earns 5 stars! It has a lot of adventure and mystery. An example is when Soren and Gylfie learn to fly. Once you start reading it, you want to finish it. It has a good way of adding adventure and sadness. An example is when Soren is captured. It gives you a lot of feelings and things to think about. This book is good for grades 2nd – 8th. If you like adventure, mystery, owls and sadness you should read this book!

GREAT SERIES submitted by xenokazegami on June 23, 2016, 10:36am THE START MAY BE A LITTLE SLOW, BUT BE READY FOR THE PLOT TWISTS

Good but... submitted by freopt on January 4, 2017, 5:44pm I liked the book but many of the things I did not understand, especially in the parts right after the first 2 chapters.

Psychology submitted by azaitzeff on August 25, 2018, 4:20pm Has anyone tried saying their name over and over again to see if the effect in this book works. I did as a kid. I do not think I did it long enough
