Great for families submitted by oberlin_nesbit on June 19, 2014, 2:50pm This is a great cookbook for those families looking to move to the Paleo diet. It is an easy read with clearly explained recipes. Plus the witty cartoons are fun!

Yummy Asian Paleo submitted by cc on June 18, 2016, 6:46pm Really good pale recipes with an asian flare. Especially good is the pulled pork and deviled eggs!

Reasonable Paleo submitted by eileenw on July 15, 2016, 10:44pm Written by a food blogger and working mom of two, Nom Nom Paleo is a beautiful, fun cookbook that has good ideas without getting too extreme. Many paleo diet aficionados (at least those who are food bloggers) can become terrifying in their diet-orthodoxy, but Nom Nom Paleo retains a sense of playfulness and rationality -- if something doesn't work for you, that's okay, this book won't shame you for your decision to eat rice (for example), but it will show you how to make rice from cauliflower should you want to stick more closely to the tenants of paleo.

Many of the recipes have an Asian flare or are Asian inspired; there are also quite a few Italian inspired recipes. The rest are American and other fare. Cookbook also shows how to make "basics" such as paleo mayo and dressings that are then used in subsequent recipes. Nom Nom Paleo addresses family eating, adult pallets, and how to get your kids on board with eating healthier for all meals and snacks (includes lunchbox suggestions).

The photography is beautiful (both of food and of people). Additionally there are cartoon versions of the the author and her family narrating sections of the book and discussing their lives. It adds a nice, memoir-lite feeling to the book.
