Great Series! submitted by KatieD on August 17, 2021, 3:41pm I love all the Newbury and Hobbes investigation stories and the plot lines that connect the stories. I especially like the Victorian Steampunk backdrop of the story. This is the third book of the series, so I recommend reading the first two since there are ongoing storylines.

Newbury and Hobbes are on another case, but Newbury's opium addiction is worsening. Veronica continues to worry about her sister. The relationships among all the characters deepens. And of course there are a ton of twists and turns and action!
