Very sweet story, even appealed to my rowdy 5yo boy.
Each book in The Lighthouse Family series stands alone; however, you get a more rich picture if you read them all. Overall, they are sweet (but not syrupy) stories, with just the right amount of drama and peril. The relationships are central, and the language is marvelous.
