Keys to Drawing submitted by ccrose on August 15, 2020, 10:19pm This book was used and recommended by an art group instructor who was an excellent resource herself. She pointed out that Dodson used many student drawings that help other students recognize how they can see in a different way, draw in a different perspective. It looks boring on the cover (been out 30 years) but it used drawing exercises that break down technique and learning new skill into small blocks. I bought myself a copy. Highly recommend. I noticed, too, that the fancy lingo of some art teachers that go over a beginner's head are rarely there. Lots of good illustrations. Don't know if the author has written more but I'll look for them. Enjoy those pencils and drawing pads!
